I’m the owner of Ola Educational Services. My journey in higher education began in 1989 at Tri-County Technical College, where I started as an Admissions Administrative Assistant. From there, my path unfolded with roles like Admissions Team Leader, Financial Counselor, and the proud stint as Director of Recruitment & Admissions.
In 2014, I embraced a new chapter at Piedmont Technical College, where I took the reins in overseeing everything from the welcome desk to circulation, recruitment, admissions, testing, and enrollment advising until 2023. Armed with an MBA from Southern Wesleyan University, my passion for guiding students through the intricacies of higher education has only intensified over my 35 years in the technical college system.
From recruitment to admissions, testing, financial aid, and every step of the enrollment process, including advising, I've been there, done that, and loved every moment.
As the Chair of the Admissions Peer Group for the SC Technical College System, I've not only accumulated experience but also certifications, including those from the Tri-County and Clemson University Higher Education Leadership Academy, topped with a Presidential Medallion from Piedmont Technical College.
Now, I’m recently retired, but never from my unwavering passion for higher education. I reside in the Upstate in South Carolina, with my husband, Bobby.
